Donkey Kong 64 might just be the most ambitious title to hit the Nintendo 64. Developed over a 2 and 1/2-year period by respected UK software house Rare, Donkey Kong 64 was met with critical praise when released and touted as the biggest game on Nintendo's third generation console. The game is massive, and we do mean massive. In fact, Donkey Kong 64 is the first title released for the N64 that required the memory expansion pack. Take the original game, scale it ten times its size and add about five times as many collectibles to it, and you know what to expect. That's Donkey Kong 64, and this week, we try our best to wrap our brains around it all.
Joining us is Goomba Stomp’s Indie Games Editor, Katrina Lind who also shares her thoughts on the barrage of indie titles set for release on the Nintendo Switch. In addition, Ricky shares his story of how and why his Nintendo Switch stopped working and Patrick tells us about his experience at the 2017 Nintendo World Championships. All this and more on the NXpress Nintendo Podcast.
