This week on the NXpress Nintendo Podcast, Katrina Lind joins Patrick and Tim for a full review of Splatoon 2, the latest hit for the Nintendo Switch! We talk weird Inkopolis memes (keep it clean, people), being forced to play with weapons we hate (do people really like the Slosher?), and gush over our favorite modes (Salmon Run = awesome). We also relate some of our stranger (and funnier moments from a weekend of splatting, and someone gets jealous that he hasn't been invited to the cool kid's team... Yes, there are some things Nintendo could have done better with this sequel, but in the end, there's plenty of gooey love for one of the company's best new IPs. From the single-player campaign to Turf War and beyond, we cover all the ground and managed to avoid getting cooked. Have a listen!

This week on the NXpress Nintendo Podcast, Tim, Patrick, and special guest Taylor Smith discuss Ever Oasis, Pokemon Go and Star Fox 2. The best way to understand Star Fox 2 and its importance to the franchise is to play it, though, and since Taylor has, he's here to tell us how the game took many different approaches to its core design that makes it stand out from the original. Meanwhile, Pokemon Go has now been out for a year and it seems it is sort of making somewhat of a comeback. Tim fills us in on the recent additions and whether or not Niantic has done enough to get him hooked once again. Finally, Tim fills us in on his thoughts of Ever Oasis, the latest collaboration between Nintendo and developer Grezzo (Ocarina of Time 3D, Majora’s Mask 3D) whose president is none other than Koichi Ishii, creator of the Mana series. All this and more.
